Producing Extensiv’s High-Impact Explainer Video

  • Led production of an animated explainer video ahead of schedule.

The Challenge 

During Extensiv's rebranding phase, there was a clear need for a visual asset that could articulate the complex nature of its new comprehensive software suite. The challenge was to create an engaging, informative explainer video that would resonate with both 3PL warehouses and ecommerce merchants. With an outdated explainer video as a jumping off point, developing a fresh, cohesive audio-visual piece that aligned with the rebranded messaging was essential.

The Solution

I led the entire project, collaborating closely with six internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop a well-rounded audio-visual splitscript. Partnering with Wyzowl’s three-person team, I managed all aspects of the production, from scriptwriting and voiceover selection to visual storyboarding and art direction. Ensuring tight cost control and adherence to the project budget, we delivered the final video ahead of schedule. To extend the video's reach, I repurposed the original 1:15 version into 5, 15, and 30-second clips optimized for Google Display ads and YouTube, modifying the script and visuals for maximum impact in shorter formats.

The Results

Video Performance: Garnered 4K+ views on YouTube within the first year. 

Ad Campaign Metrics: Achieved 444,884 impressions and 41,333 engagements, resulting in 596 conversions. 

Cost Efficiency: Maintained a low cost-per-view of $0.216 and a cost-per-conversion of $6.59. 

High Engagement: Maintained a strong interaction rate of 9.29% and a conversion rate of 1.44%.
