Producing High-Impact Video Content to Build Trust and Showcase Extensiv’s Value

The Challenge 

Extensiv faced a significant challenge in conveying the value of its complex products to potential customers. The company lacked engaging video content to illustrate how its software solutions streamline operations. With audiences often skeptical of traditional marketing and sales content, finding a way to present genuine, relatable information was essential. However, video production typically requires substantial investment, with external production teams costing upwards of $5,000 per video. Extensiv needed a cost-effective solution that would resonate with their target audience and build trust.

The Solution

I spearheaded a two-day video production project on-site at Bulu, a 3PL based in Lincoln, Nebraska, using over $15K of my personal video equipment, including three high-quality cameras, a dozen lenses, lighting, and audio gear. Our team consisted of my manager (Director of Digital Marketing), the Director of Product Marketing, and a Sales Engineer. The shoot featured in-depth interviews with Paul Jarret (CEO/Founder of Bulu), Stephanie Jarret (President/Founder), Marcus Quevedo (COO), and Marissa Whalen (CEO/Founder of Little Movements), who shared her brand’s growth story and decision to partner with a 3PL to focus on product and marketing. Marcus provided a detailed walkthrough of the warehouse operations, showcasing how Bulu leverages Extensiv’s software to manage key processes, including inbound, outbound, and business operations.

 

The Results

Comprehensive Content: The footage is being edited into four "Warehouse Walkthrough" videos, each approximately 5 minutes long, covering overview, inbound, outbound, and business operations. 

Ad Campaigns and Social Reach: The videos will be repurposed as ads for YouTube and social media to broaden reach and engagement. 

Lead Generation: A dedicated landing page will feature all four videos, allowing visitors to select the content most relevant to their interests, ultimately driving more MQLs and SQOs through authentic product previews and a compelling testimonial.
